Comparison scope
Compares the paid desktop products Acrobat Pro and Foxit PDF Editor; advanced Foxit features refer to Pro or the corresponding licensed edition. Univer includes the complete Office SDK and optional modules, with SDK API and UI coverage specified per feature. Text/image editing depends on PDF structure. External-agent integration with OCR, scanning, or compression tools is noted separately; these tools must be supplied independently and are not built-in Univer capabilities. Generative AI is excluded from this comparison; traditional OCR is included in the comparison scope. Partial support describes its exact scope.
